Extension of the QGIS plugin “Load Them All”

QGIS offers many useful extensions (plugins) that can be adapted and expanded according to customer requirements due to the GPL license. We show an example here:

Supplement of additional filter functions

In 2015 we added a bounding box filter to the existing QGIS plug-in “Load Them All” by Germán Carrillo for an engineering office from Hanover and expanded the alphanumeric filter so that expressions using '&&' and '||' can be combined in one query.

The new functionality was integrated back into the source code of the plugin in consultation with the customer and was thus available to all QGIS users. A typical example of how you can customize open source software to your needs and at the same time give something back to the community.
